Bok hooker Akker van der Merwe has signed with The Sale Sharks in England until 2022.
Earlier on Monday, Saleh confirmed Rob Dee's signing on a similar long-term deal before revealing that Van der Merwe will head to AJ Bell after the end of this year's Watercock Super Rugby.

"I feel it's time for my career to move away from South Africa. I've just started a family, and after I've looked at all my options with them, I think this is the best we can take for us as a family, "Van der Merwe said.
Good I am a good friend with Faff de Klerk and, after talking to him, he has only nice things to say about Sale, so we are really happy to join the club and experience a new lifestyle in Manchester.
Bock's Steve Kitschoff's stick is another player who is strongly associated with the move to Sale, and Du Preez twins Dan and Jean-Luc are expected to take short-term deals with the English club.
