One of the latest skins for your character in Fortnite was conceived by an eight-year-old fan, and though American players probably just finished eating a mound of turkey, it's time to switch over to chicken.
Back in September, and Fortnite player named Connor got his father to submit a picture of his own Fortnite skin concept to the game's Reddit board. Called the "Chicken Trooper," the drawing was simple, but it resonated with fans who really wanted a chicken included in the game.
Reddit users helped turn his concept into more detailed artwork, and the idea apparently hit a chord with Epic Games.
As part of the "Fowl Play" set, the skin – which Epic called "Tender Defender" – can be purchased for 1,500 V-Bucks, and the separate Flappy Flyer and Scrambler items are available for 800 and 500 V-Bucks, respectively.

The skin shows the character wearing talon boots, skintight red leggings, and plenty of feathers.
"You made his day. He is sporting a permanent grin," said Connor's father in a Reddit post. "You guys made me the coolest dad alive."
The latest full content update for Fortnite added a limited-time Wild West mode as well as the dynamite item. Wreck-It Ralph also just appeared in the game last week. You can read more about all updates in the IGN's Fortnite wiki.
