The media harass Megan Marl just like Princess Diana, who was killed in a car crash while being chased by paparazzi, said her friend George Clooney.
Clooney and his wife Amal attended Megan's wedding with Prince Harry, Diana's son, last year when the American actress became the newest addition to the British royal family.
Sussex's duchess, as it is now known, expects its first child, something that has already boosted the massive media interest.
"They just chase Megan Mark everywhere, she's been persecuted and enraged," Clooney told the Australian WHO magazine.
"She is a seven-month-old woman, persecuted and persecuted in the same way as Diana, and the story is repeated," Clooney said.
Last weekend, some media published details of an intimate letter that said Megan had sent her alien father.
"I can not tell you how disappointing it is," Clooney said.
"Just seeing them send a letter from her father's daughter, she gets a hard deal out there and I think it's irresponsible and I'm surprised."
Last month, five of Megan's close friends told People that the Duchess had suffered "lies and falsehoods" and "global harassment," and worried about how it would affect her and her baby.
In 2016, shortly after their relationship became public, Prince Harry made a rare statement criticizing the media for interfering with Megan's privacy, stating that the press had subjected her to a "wave of violence and harassment."
Harry and his elder brother Prince William, the second-highest in the throne, had strained relations with the press as their mother, Princess Diana, was killed in a car crash in Paris in 1997 while being chased by motorcycle parakeets.
