Guardiola denies Juventus move, apologizes for Liverpool singing to Man City

Pep Guardiola insisted he has full confidence in Manchester City bosses ahead of UEFA's decision to play in the Champions League, as his country is preparing for the UEFA Cup final against Watford.

The city has been referred to the UEFA court hearing committee on suspected FFP violations where, if found guilty, they could face expulsion from the Champions League.

He has a slightly overshadowed City who staked his second consecutive Premier League title last Sunday, while Wembley's victory on Saturday would provide historic troikas, but Guardiola is critical of his club being already condemned by many.

"I trust the club and the people," he said. "I know we won the Premier League, and in the last two or three days people just talked about it (the alleged violations).

"If we did something wrong and Wepha decided that we had done something wrong, we would be punished or whatever.

"I know people expect us to be guilty. But now we are innocent.

"It's sometimes hard to understand for everyone, because it's not always happening around the world, but we're innocent until proven otherwise."

The Guardian said he would leave the club's lawyers arguments.

"We will accept it, but I spoke with the chairman and CEO. I know exactly what they have done and I trust many of them, "said the 48-year-old Spaniard.

"Ufa is already working with Manchester City lawyers. Manchester City is open to revealing all the documents, all the documents and everything they have done.

– I'm not a lawyer. I do not know what will happen behind the scenes of all the meetings they have.

"Today we are innocent. We will see in the future. "

Since Guardiola was preparing for the fight with Watford, he also had to defend his players and staff.

The tape came out of City's private airplane back from Brighton last Sunday of singing singing that offended Liverpool because of the lyrics that speak of them as "sacrifices" and "strolling in the streets."

Some people said the lyrics were about the Hillside tragedy and Liverpool fan Shawn Cox's leak before last year's Champions League semi-final against the Roma.

However, Guardiola apologized and insisted they did not intend to ridicule their Premier League rivals who kept the title race until the last day of the season to finish a point in the city.

"We were happy for ourselves, not because we were for others, so if someone was offended for another matter, I'm sorry," he said.

"I'm sorry, but that was never our intention.

"We were celebrating for ourselves. We were lucky to win the Premier League. It was so hard against an incredible contender.

Guardiola has the chance to lead the city to unprecedentedly high triple levels if it can take the FA Cup to continue the league title and the League Cup.

The former manager of Barcelona and Bayern considered him a possible "mini-quartet" by winning the August Community Shield.

But he still has to conquer the Champions League with his current club.

This obvious omission from his resume is that he categorically denies moving to Juventus on the day it was announced that Massimiliano Allegri will leave the Torino giants at the end of the season.

"How many times do I have to say I will not go to Juventus," he said. – I'm not going to Italy.

"I'm staying two more seasons here if they want me."

– I have a contract. I am happy to work here with this club and these people. I will not go anywhere, so I feel today. "
