Christian Eriksen update

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will not allow Christian Eriksen to leave the club without replacing a big-name substitute, according to Darren Bent.

The international from Denmark has revealed its desire to find another challenge early in the summer, with the move to Europe still at stake.

Bent told Football Insider: "It's a lot of him [Eriksen] it's still there. It's almost like a new signature, now you think, if they release it, who do they enter?

"Now that I know Daniel Levy, as I do, I cannot see him letting anyone like Christian Eriksen, someone of his quality, go without anyone replacing him.

"Maybe if they had Philip Coutinho or Paulo Dybala, they probably would have done it, but they can't do anything because the window is closed."
