CAPE TOWN – MultiChoice released an updated pricelist for subscriptions for DStv for 2019 with an increase in bundles.
Multicoice said in a statement: "DStv has announced that it will adjust some of its subscription pack prices from April 1, 2019.
"We understand that weather is difficult in South Africa and that our customers are under pressure to make every cent they spend," said Multichoice.
The company also said it would give DStv Premium a "price freeze" from 1 April 2019, ensuring that customers pay the same rate for their package.
Other packages not included in this list are still not receiving Multichoice increases.
More recently, MultiChoice led early in the South African Film and Television Awards as the most nominated TV broadcaster with 149 SAFTA nominations.
These include the most nominated performances in all major categories: feature film, television comedy, television drama, soap and telenovela.
"We have a simple goal for MultiChoice – to be the most beloved narrator of African stories," says Yolissa Falle, CEO of General Entertainment at MultiChoice.
