China is launching a rover in the first attempt to land on the first moon

A long March-3B rocket carrying the probe, which includes a landing and a trailer, fired from the Xichang satellite launch center in Sichuan province in southwest China.

China has promoted international cooperation in its moon exploration program, with four scientifically useful tasks in the Chang-e-4 mission, developed by scientists from the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and Saudi Arabia.
