This is the brightest comet of 2018, which in theory is visible to the eye but is large and diffuse, is not easy to see. Greg Hogan in Kathleen, Georgia, captured the Comet Wirtanan on November 26, 2018. He wrote, "This comet was finally over my tree line in my neighborhood, I was able to find it quickly with a quick shot pointed in the right direction. They took 9:30 EST.
