The astronaut troika, currently living aboard the International Space Station, celebrates Thanksgiving in orbit even when three more astronauts are preparing to join the team early next month.
Of the cosmonauts currently in the space station, only the Russian cosmonaut Sergey Prokopiev will work on the holiday. European astronaut Alexander Gerst and NASA astronaut Serena Aung-chancellor will both take the weekend.
