The national vaccination campaign against measles and rubella for children from 13 months to 4 years will end next Friday since
27% still have not received the additional dose, free of charge and mandatory, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Health authorities urged families to go to the nearest vaccination centers so their children receive immunization, which is "mandatory and free" for the population of this age group across the country.

During the campaign, which began on October 1 and is being held every four years to reduce the impact of measles and rubella, an additional dose of 2 054 779 boys was obtained by the last Wednesday.
