(ANSA) – The number of companies they apply AI (AI) for your everyday activities is increasing every day in the world. In the last four years it has grown by 270% and has tripled over the past 12 months. The data comes from a Gartner analysis company survey that collects reports from more than 3,000 ITDs from major industrial sectors in 89 countries.
Gartner's report highlights how growth in artificial intelligence is due to a significant maturing of technologies that have forced companies to apply it to different applications. In particular, the spread of artificial intelligence has increased by 12 percentage points, from 25% in 2018 to 37% today.
Four years ago, the use of artificial intelligence was quite rare, with only 10% of companies adopting this technology. "If you are a CEO and your organization does not use artificial intelligence, your competitors are likely to do so, and that should be a problem for you," explains Chris Howard, vice president of Gartner.
The survey shows that 52% of telecommunication organizations are chattels and that 38% of healthcare providers rely on computer-assisted diagnostics. Other cases of operational use of artificial intelligence include the protection against fraud and consumer fragmentation.
