Now? You can get off the first launch planet in about 10 minutes, and you can do it in about five if you don't fuck around.

Aside from the increase in garages in your inventory – from 250 to 10,000 – there is so much more to the game that is much clearer. And many of the roadblocks in the early game were almost completely eliminated. The mining beam can be used longer and has a higher initial charge so that players do not clog so that they have to find carbon or compressed carbon to recharge it all the time.

The tool tips are much better described – you have a very clear sense of how to move forward, and the game helps you get through the original construction of the building and what elements you will need right away. After not playing for three years – and Hello Games probably had one eye on players who haven't played NMS in general – the system was just what I needed. In addition, there were no problems changing all the keyboard / mouse prompts to the controller and vice versa, which is always a nice touch.

And this camera, oh my.

It's not a perfect system to build, but that's exactly what I want Fallout 76 had. You can put everything down in the first (or third) face as you always could, but in beyond the update adds the ability to switch to a third-party camera.

It is impossible to indicate how much utility it gives you once your building reaches, well, the normal size of most buildings. Any multi-storey structure, especially one you build with friends, is infinitely easier to assemble. I would still like a few separate buttons to control the height of the camera when building, but this is a hell of a start.
