ASUS changed the strategy of its smartphone series and marketed its new Zenfone 6 as the best line of the brand – without any "special" version containing the best internal components.
To look carefully at what the Taiwanese manufacturer's new flagship can offer, TodoCelular was at the official event, held in Valencia, Spain, and divided the main accents of the device for you.
The design of Zenfone 6 shows the focus on device originality. In its construction, the device mixes materials such as metal, in the frame and glass, at the back. In addition, it can please those who prefer to have colder colors – like the option for gradient tones in silver and blue.
With a 6.4-inch non-click screen, ASUS puts a Flip Camera to turn the back in the front with a swivel axis and allow the 92% front end without a big body.
So far, we can not know whether the operation of this type of touch mechanism will actually deliver what it promises. But it is important to emphasize that the technology used is not similar to that used for example with the Samsung Galaxy A80 slider.
This is the time when the new Zenfone looks surprisingly positive when the first data arrives. Equipped with the Snapdragon 855 chipset, Qualcomm's state-of-the-art platform for the top of the line, the model manages to hold back competitors against the benchmarks.
In AnTuTu, as you can see in the pictures above, the ASUS smartphone registers a score of 361,505. Compared to his rivals, he was behind Xiaomi Mi 9 (371,423), but managed to surpass the Galaxy S10 (358,845) in his Qualcomm chip and live IQOO (356,004).
Zen Power Boost
When the Zen Power Boost is attached to the device, as it is called "turbo mode", the Zenfone 6 further increases its score to the point where it outpaces the Xiaomi rival and reaches 376,419.
It remains to be seen, with more detailed testing in the future, whether the high benchmark results will become more rapid in everyday use.
Featuring two 48-megapixel cameras with a Sony sensor and 13 MP, ultra-high of 125 degrees, ASUS promises high-definition images and quality in any environment and offers a more visual field option found in the competitor Galaxy S10 Plus.
From the collected samples, Zenfone 6 shows that the combination of software and hardware for effect formation bokee, In addition, it can deliver the same functions when taking pictures with the back of the device in front.
For low-light environments, the manufacturer uses the Super Night feature. Despite the different brand name, the feature allows you to capture images in low light places, with greater visibility and no increase in recording noise.
With 5000 mAh, ASUS relies on more capacity than its main competitors to spend more time than the socket. The manufacturer promises up to two days of use.
However, it is important to note that autonomy can vary depending on the user's use and the available resources. One of them, even the engine responsible for the Flip Camera.
