MetroRio releases discount cards at Uber and Shared Bike – Via Trolebus

Concessionaire MetroRio launches a card that gives discounts to travelers who make Uber trips and rent common bikes.

The so-called Giro will be sold in the box office and self-service machines in 41 concession stations starting Saturday, November 24th.

The card will cost R $ 3 (payable and returned) and the first charge should be at least R $ 5. The Giro can be used immediately after the first purchase. When you make your first online purchase, the Giro customer receives an additional ticket from MetRôRio. The passenger who reloads the card must confirm the credit on the stations.

The discount is made through a promotional code that must be included in the Payments / Add Uber promotional code field, will guarantee a 30% discount for each trip (discount is limited to R $ 10) for races from a metro station or who have destination one of 41 MetrôRio stations. The code will be valid for one week (seven calendar days) as of the day the code was first entered in the app.

Shared Bikes

Bike Rio (Itaú orange motors), managed by Tembici, will be integrated with the Giro card. When you sign up at https://bikeitau.com.br/bikerio/ or in the "BIKEITAÚ" application, simply enter your Giro card details. From there, Giro can be used to easily and safely release bicycles in the stations without using the mobile phone.

Additionally, in December 2018 and January 2019, customers who register and activate the Giro Card will also receive a coupon email that will give one month (monthly plan) free bicycle use to those who are not yet registered at Bike Rio or 50% discount for those who are already using oranges.
