The Senate officially returns from the white recess on Tuesday (6). The plenary vote on the agenda is the CEC, which limits the ability of ministers of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and other courts to make monocratic decisions. The text imposes restrictions on the requests for views and the monocratic safeguards in the judiciary. The idea is that these decisions should be banned in cases of unconstitutionality or suspension of a law or regulation. During a judicial break or in an emergency and in the event of irreparable damage, the President of the Court calls on the other Members to decide on the request for a writ. An amendment has been tabled to limit the actions of the Supreme Court regarding the suspension of legislative proposals.
