Watch Dogs Legion was officially introduced at Ubisoft's E3 2019 conference. The new franchise title arrives on March 6 with another offer, giving up the idea of a hero and allowing the player to control different NPCs. Although it is confirmed for the current generation, the game maker may have offered a crossover.
In the E3 2019 gaming panel (through Push Square), Creative Director Clint Hawking hinted at the possibility of the game coming to the next generation. When he closed the panel, he revealed the launch of "PlayStation platforms" in plural. Since PS3 or PS Vita is unlikely, it is very likely that he has turned to the new PlayStation.
In addition to the plural Sony platform, Hocking does the same with Xbox consoles. Check under the video at 20:00 when the director gives the statement.
This is not the first time that the viewing dogs franchise will be crossed. The first game was also released on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, with some visual differences. It is possible to take the same approach on the part of Ubisoft to spread a wider range of the game.
