Long-term maternity leave can encourage Bulgarian youth to return to the country, said Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy Zornitsa Rusinova.
Bulgarian labor law guarantees very favorable conditions, starting from the longest maternity. Instead of debating with employers whether to reduce or not, let's use it as an advertisement to attract young people to work in Bulgaria, Roussinova told reporters in Dobrich, quoted by the BTA.
The Deputy Minister announced that next year he will start an initiative to attract Bulgarian youth who live mainly in Europe. "First of all, we will focus our attention on young people with good qualifications as well as those who study at European universities. In campaigns in partnership with employers' organizations we will present not only special workplaces with special requirements. but also the fullness of life in Bulgaria and what it means to work in this country, "explained Rusinova.
According to him, there are sectors where wages are comparable to European salaries. There is a steady increase in average wages in the country so that with the joint efforts of ministries, employers' organizations, municipalities, bilateral chambers of commerce and industry we will be able to attract young people to return to Bulgaria, said Deputy Minister.
Zornitsa Rusinova participated in a business meeting in Dobrich, where she presented her employment opportunities.
