The film "Arriving in America 2" will be on screen in the summer of next year, Contactmusic reported.
The sequel to 1988's "Coming to America" comedy, which Eddie Murphy's fans have long been awaiting, will be released in cinemas on August 7, 2020.
Eddie will return to the role of Akim, a prince of a fictional African country, who goes to America to escape a marriage and find a wife.
So far, it remains unclear whether the other stars in the movie, including James Earl Jones and Arsenio Hall, will return to their familiar roles.
Directed by "Arriving in America 2" will be Craig Brewer. The script for the sequel is entrusted to Kenya Barris.
