FORT LAWRENCE, N.S. – A 61-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle collision in the eastbound lane of Highway 104 near Exit 1A at the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border.
RCMP said in a release release that man was found dead in the driver's seat of the vehicle that collided with a tractor trailer.
The initial investigation shows the vehicle driven by the man collided head on the tractor trailer. No one else was injured.
The eastbound side of Highway 104 is closed to traffic while traffic analysts investigate the crash. Traffic was rerouted around the crash via Highway 970 in New Brunswick to Highway 366 in Tidnish.
The westbound lane of the highway was not affected.
