Europeans are waiting almost 3 years to configure their Tesla Model 3s. Recently, the configuration of the "All-Wheel-3-Mode" and "Run-Out" models was open to European reservation holders. Tesla released the video under yesterday.
But can you use a referral code?
But there was no easy way to use the forwarding code to get 6 months of free recharge. When you try to use a simple link like https://ts.la/paul92237, it displays a page that lets you order a S or X. But I was browsing Model 3 Owners Club Twitter Page and they have a typing writer on how to use the forwarding code! Clicking through the links seems Ryan McCaffrey first invented it and handed it to selected followers on Twitter. Of course, we are happy to share the process with more of you.
Send Tesla to an email
Send email to [email protected] with the word "Forward" in the header. In the body of your email, include the name and contact information, the reservation number (starting with RN), and the forwarding code you want to use. My is paul92237 – or you can use someone else. This is the method you should use if you've already configured your model 3, which is a bypass solution for Europeans, while Tesla does not change the website's options. Keep in mind that it may take a few days for Tesla to update your order.
conclusion
