KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) – At a late-press conference last night, Kansas City CEO Brett Veach said the organization was "deeply disturbed" by records by Tyreek Hill and his fiancé, released by KCTV5 News Thursday.
Veach noted that the team had heard the video in real time with the public, adding that they are concerned about both Hill and Crystal Esplin, but their main focus is on the well-being of the young child.
In the 11-minute audio recordings shot in Dubai, Hill and Esplinn can be heard discussing their 3-year-old son and the broken hand he has received, an incident that Esplin looks guilty of Hill.
The general manager also said that Hill would not be involved in teamwork for the "foreseeable future."
He also said the organization is still gathering more information and will soon "make the right decision regarding Mount Tirek."
KCTV5 News publishes records one day after Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe has announced he refuses to blame Hill or Esplin for any crime after investigating two reports of child abuse at Hill Overland Park Home.
