Google is expanding the availability of its recruitment application in Canada (and the United Kingdom).
The search giant for the first time launched the app in the US as early as July 2017. The hiring created a one-stop shop for recruiting the company's corporate dashboard.
In addition, as part of G Suite, Google's Cloud Computing, Performance and Collaboration computing program, Hire integrates seamlessly with other G Suite applications.
For example, emails and calendars sent by hiring are automatically synced to Gmail and Calendar respectively. Similarly, rental users can track and visualize candidate data through tables.
Google claims it has spent the last few months testing Hire with a variety of Canadian companies, including Mirego, a digital consulting firm based in Quebec City.
According to data collected by Deliotte and quoted by Google, it takes an average of 52 days to fill an open corporate position and about $ 4,000 for interviewing and evaluating potential employees.
The company's hope is that hiring will help companies make the recruitment process more efficient.
