The post office will return to the country at noon on Tuesday after the Senate passed a law to end the five-week rotating strike by postal workers.
Royal endorsement was given at the end of Monday shortly after the Senators approved Bill C-89 with a vote of 53-25. Four senators abstained.
The government believes that the adoption of the bill is urgent because of the economic impact of prolonged interruptions of mail during the busy holiday season. He entered the bill through the House of Commons last week.
