Sony PlayStation Classic is a great deal at the moment (only $ 40)

Just after a few months on the market, the Sony PlayStation Classic has fallen at a more reasonable price. So now all of you who really want to experience the good and the bad from the mid-1990s have a great opportunity. The retro system hit commercial shelves just before Christmas (December 3rd) for $ 100, and is now up to 40 dollars in Amazon and Walmart.

The retro system is similar to Nintendo's NES and SNES Classics. This is a small replica of the original PlayStation, which comes with two full-size controls and 20 pre-loaded games. These games are: Final Fantasy VII, Grand Theft Auto, Metal gears hard, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, Twisted metals, Battle Arena Toshinden, Cool the Bonders 2, Destroying Derby, Intelligent Qube, Skip Flash!, Mr. Driller, Oddworld: Odysseus of Abe, Rayman, Resident Evil Director's Cut, Revelations: Person, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Filter for siphon, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six, and Wild Weapons,

Retro entertainment and disappointment

I did not write a full review of PlayStation Classic last fall, but I spent a lot of time with it. Here are some thoughts.

armored: I enjoyed playing many of these PS Classic games when I tried it out. It is fascinating to go back to the 32-bit era of games and experience some of the titles that helped the transition to 3D games. For gamers who grew up during this era, it's a reminder of how great these games are and how far we've come.

UMOR: I had the same complaints as other reviewers and fans. The first big irritation is that while it has a USB power cord, it required too much power to make the TV available, so I had to pull out my own AC adapter.

I also liked to include two controllers, but they wanted to be 1997 DualShock analog-stick controllers, not the original D-Pad-only controllers. Big hits like Crash Bandikut, Gran Turismo, Tomb Raiderand others are also missing, and some of the games involved feel like a filler. Finally, like much older titles, the games just did not look so great on a modern 4K high-definition TV – more display options would be nice.

An easier sale of 40 bucks

These problems were difficult to swallow at $ 100 but could be more acceptable than $ 40. Also, it is unclear whether the system is about to come out but a sharp drop in price indicates that this model may not be long for store shelves. Whatever your reasons, it's probably the best time to get this version of PlayStation Classic if you like. I'm not sure if this price will continue or not. If not, it will probably go back to $ 60 or more.
