Nintendo launches its first full one Super Brosh Trailer with a big, bold statement: Everyone is here. When the game starts, players were excited to have access to every character who has ever been in the Smash Bros. game – but even more heroes come – and if you bought the game before January 31, maybe you could get the first one for free. But time is over.

Here's what happens: Nintendo offers the Piranha plant, The first DLC character of the gameas a free early bonus to buy every player who buys and registers Super Smash Bros. Ultimate before January 31.

Players who have purchased a physical copy of the game will have to dive into the options menu on their Nintendo Switch ($ 289 in Amazon) to register the game with Nintendo. Do so before the January 31 deadline, and Nintendo will email the redesigned code of the e-shop for the e-mail address associated with your account.

Here's the complete process described by Nintendo:

If you buy the retail version, you will need to register your My Nintendo card before 11:59. PT on 31 January 2019. Here are the steps:

1) First, create a My Nintendo account at if you have not already done so.
2) Place the game card in the Nintendo Switch console and highlight the game icon in the HOME menu.
3) Press the + or – button to enter the software options menu.
4) Select "My Nintendo Awards Program", then select "Earn Points (Game Card Version Only)" to complete the process.

Players who have purchased the game digitally must be automatically registered but still have to check their e-mail code for eShop redemption code. This code will continue to work even if it arrives after the deadline but does not sit on it too long: the Piranha Plant eShop codes expire on June 30, 2019.

At the time of writing, the deadline for registering your copy of the game is less than one week but Nintendo is making efforts to notify players by specifying the deadline in social media publications, Nintendo eShop news channel news, and even in pop-up tips that appear when players start the game. If you can not find the code in your email, you can contact Nintendo Customer Support for help.

You still have no Smash Bros. Ultimate? Then you will probably miss the free version of Piranha Plant, but Nintendo says the hero will be available for purchase later this year. "height =" 109 "width =" 194
