Teen girl, mother and both injured after an attack at Scarborough high



Tiny girl and mother are seriously injured after an assault in a building to climb in Scarborough on Friday night.

Neighbors call 911 at around 6 in the morning. after hearing an assault at a residence in the Danforth-McCawan area near Lawrence Avenue East, police said in Toronto.

Officers from the 43 divisions found a 17-year-old girl without vital signs and stabbing wounds to the upper body. She had entered SickKids Hospital in a life-threatening condition, according to paramedics.

Mother, who is believed to be 30 years old, was also taken to the medical center in Sunny Beach with a head injury, police say. It is in a severe but non-life-threatening condition.

Researchers are looking for a man aged 35-40, aged about 5 ", wearing a white jacket and possibly no shoes.

Lastly, he saw him flee from the area north along the McCawan road near Trudeli Street.

Police say it is unclear whether victims and suspects know each other.
