In a recent interview with CBS "60 minutes, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he would consider buying some genetically modified plants if the company dropped them.
This is not the first time Tesla did so. According to Electrek, the EV Freemont Factory is an old GM and Toyota facility that Tesla has reorganized after being suspended by the heirs of cars.
Musk's solid quote is, "We may be interested [GM] will sell a plant or not use it to pick it up. "
It would be unbelievable if Tesla bought some of the factories because it has a genetically modified plant that closes in Oshua Ontario and Tesla is currently not producing cars in Canada.
