San Francisco, November 22 (IANS) Microsoft has added Digital Health with Cortana support for its Android device starter beta that will allow users to track the applications they use.
The launch of Microsoft's "Version 5.1" is an attempt to give users more control over their interaction with social media, Windows Central said on Wednesday.
Together with the Digital Health feature, the new update merges the Tasks and Saved Notes list to allow users to synchronize their tasks and notes.
The Startup Tasks tab "Tasks" now shows tasks from the Outlook and Skype applications along with "Notes" showing your ads from "Sticky Notes" on Windows, Outlook and OneNote mobile, "the report added.
The new beta is available for testers in the Play Store and must be released to all users in the coming weeks, the report added.
Major technology companies such as Apple, Facebook, and Instagram have recently added features such as "Screen Time", "Your Activity" and "Your Time on Facebook" to alert users to their use of applications.
In October, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 will soon fully embrace Android to reflect mobile applications on computers, so the company has aggressively updated its Android launcher in the past year.
Earlier this year, the technology giant added a family-focused location tracking feature to the Android launch app, along with an activity reporting feature that supports data about what apps are used on a device and how long.
