The Artist Plays Hollywood Stars as Mortal Kombat Heroes • Eurogamer.net

Terry Krues as Jack? Rock like Shao Khan? Gal Gados like Kitan? It's fun to imagine Hollywood stars as Mortal Kombat's characters. Well, an artist put a pencil on paper and went even further.

Artists Boss Logic is tweeting some great pictures of famous actors as heroes from the famous NetherRealm franchise gameplay game – and most are perfect fits.

Here is Brooklyn's nine-nine-star Terry Creus as Jackson's "Jake" Briggs, full of robotic weapons. Jax's team is so suited that Mortal Kombat development boss Ed Boon joined Twitter to add his admiration.

Better still, Terry Kruse himself picked up Twain's tweak, saying, "I'd like to do that!"

And Boon issued a trademark teaser (Jax is so unconfirmed for Mortal Kombat 11).

Terry Crews of Boss Logic, as well as Jax, appeared in the titles, but he made similar, just as cool shots.

Here's Gal Gaddo as Kitan.

Here's Chris Pratt like Johnny Cage.

Here is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Shao Khan.

My favorite, however, is Keanu Reeves as a blind Ninja Kanshi.

I know it's not the best movie in the world, but I have a little room for the Mortal Kombat movie. The dialogue is terrible, the special effects definitely do not last, and the storyline is as meaningless as the game on which it is based, but young teenagers impressed me with some of the scenes of the struggle. I mean, Johnny Cage vs. Scorpio was a real pleasure.

Terry Krue is not unknown in the video game world, of course – it will take place at Microsoft Crackdown 3 next month. And in Mortal Kombat 11, MMA star Ronda Rousey plays Sonya Blade.

What I say is to do that!
