UPDATE: Kelowna's RCMP said Thursday that after an investigation into the collision, no driver was issued to a single driver in the incident at midday Wednesday between noon and Corvette.
Police added that the video footage nearby aided the investigation and that ICBC would eventually determine the blame for the incident.
ORIGINAL HISTORY:
Call it a freak accident on the go: Black Corvette convertible partially nailed under half shoes.
In the slow center of downtown Kelowna, however.
The incident took place at the intersection of Pandosy Street and Lawrence Avenue.
Both vehicles were traveling west on Lawrence Avenue, which is a one-way street.
The half-family tried to make a wide, left turn from the right lane. Meanwhile, the Corvette was in the left lane and stopped at the intersection.

The half-time driver told Global News that he was making a left turn when the Corvette pulled up to him, causing the convertible to wedge under the trailer.
The Corvette driver told Global News he was too shocked to speak.
It seems both drivers were fine.
