"Black Friday" offers user engagement

American consumers have taken advantage of the huge discounts on toys, clothing and electronics both online and at retail stores during the annual Black Friday sale, which gave traders a strong start at the end of the holiday season.

A healthy economy and rising wages have led people to go out and spend money on a range of bargain deals offered by retailers.

"Today's prices are very good," said 59-year-old Jose Manuel Cruz Hernandez, who visited the Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, California, accompanied by his 66-year-old sister Paulina Cruz, who travels every year from Mexico City to buy,

They both spent $ 120 on princess dolls and other toys in Walt Disney store where there was a 20% discount. They also paid a similar amount to local Gap Inc, where the costumes were offered at discounts of about 55%.

Cruise Hernandez, a cosmopolitan company, said he felt good about the US economy and finances, so he plans to spend another $ 1,000 for holiday gifts almost the same as last year.

A similar story happened in the online business, where buyers spent about $ 643 million before 10:00 am East Time (1500 GMT), 28 percent more than a year ago, according to Adobe Analytics, to most of the major online retailers in the United States .
