The Ministry of Health acknowledges that its collection network for blood samples taken in clinical laboratories to confirm the presence of the Zika virus has not yet been recovered after Hurricane Maria.
Against the background of accusations that the government is not processing these tests, state epidemologist Carmen Dedda pointed out that laboratories that do not send samples should contact the agency to coordinate the collection of the necessary material.
According to reports that the public health service itself regularly, in 2017 there are 1641 confirmed cases of Zika, of which 1,161 pregnant women.
However, the latest archobirus report of 7 December 2018 has zero confirmed cases of Zica, Dengue, or Hicugun, although there are 445 cases of these three viruses.
