Tanta University has published an academic book that provides accurate academic reviews of giant national projects established in Egypt under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi. The book is titled "Achievements and Prospects for a Promising Economic Future 2014-2018." A team of senior university professors specializing in scientific research, engineering, roads and agriculture under the supervision of Dr. Magdy Sabaa, President of the University.
This book emphasizes the sharpness of political leadership to implement national economic and social reform programs to ensure national economic recovery and put it on the path of sustainable economic and social growth, which is translated into government multi-branch work programs, which include protecting Egypt's national security and raising standards citizen life. National projects are large and double the level of investment to accelerate economic growth. This book includes five Tanta University chapters. The first chapter reviews the national economic and social reform programs in Egypt and aspirations for the future.
The second chapter discusses social justice, citizen service and the social dimension of economic reform and service development. The third and fourth chapters of the achievement of major national projects, the achievement of sectoral development, the development of the industrial, oil, electricity, agriculture, tourism, communications and civil aviation sectors are monitored and documented. This book documents the numbers and project statistics carried out in the 2014-2018 period, which amounted to 11,000 projects investment costs of 2 trillion pounds and reviewed indicators of high economic growth and cash reserves and the results of goods exports and growth of foreign investment and the increase in transfers smoothly and low inflation.
Dr. Magdy Saba said that Tanta University was interested in publishing this book as a historical testimony for future generations and to provide a database for researchers at universities and Egyptian research centers about our main national achievements in accurate numbers and statistics.
