Defending champion Magnus Carlsen must wait for his first victory at the World Chess Championship in London. The second game also ended with a draw – and was a huge success for challenger Fabiano Caruana, who surprised Carlsen with a rare step in the variant of the rejected Gambit Ratu. In the end, Caruana had no problem securing the draw.
After the second match and today's day of rest, it continues on Monday with the third meeting (16 hours, live ticker SPIEGEL ONLINE).
