Sixty years ago launched the first Jaguar sports car, the XK 120 in 1948 was the fastest car. This is remembered by the F-Type based Checkered Flag Limited Edition, which now has two drivers built by the factory. Precisely the NUB 120 is the role model Ian Appleyard starting with Alpine, RAC and Tulip rallying – the last two won.
In accordance with FIA regulations, rally cars are built, in addition to safety systems (roll bars, six point belts, fire fighting systems, etc.), suspension and brake systems are also modified, with a series of additional headlights on the nose. The springs are softer, the handmade shock absorbers are even softer so the car can run at high speed on the accelerator.
In the engine compartment, the 2.0-liter Ingenium, 300-hp turbo engine works, self-locking locking that matches racing requirements is placed on the rear axle, and the hydraulic handbrake also helps change bends.
