JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Former Golkar Party Secretary General Idrus Marham will undergo an examination as a suspect in the Corruption Eradication Commission Building (KPK), Jakarta, Friday (11/16/2018).
Before undergoing the examination, Idrus showed off a green book containing his own writing.
"This is a book that I made myself, I read during the detention," said Idrus at the KPK Building.
The book that Idrus showed was titled "Mambangun Ghirah, Islamic Studies". On the front cover of the book is written the name Idrus Marham.
According to Idrus, 3,000 copies of the newly printed book contained motivational words when someone was in trouble. In addition, according to Idrus, the book was used as an ingredient in self-evaluation.
"How can a person face an exam, face the journey of life like this, how do we act as a Muslim," said Idrus.
Idrus Marham was named a suspect after allegedly playing a role in granting bribes to Deputy Chairperson of House of Representatives Commission VII Eni Maulani Saragih.

According to the KPK, Idrus played a role in encouraging Eni to receive Rp. 4.7 billion from Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo, as the shareholder of Blackgold Natural Resources Limited.
Eni Maulani Saragih was previously named a suspect in a suspected bribery case related to the Riau PLTU construction project.
In the development of the investigation it was found that Idrus helped and together with Eni Maulani accepted bribes. Meanwhile, Idrus was promised money of 1.5 million US dollars by Johannes Budisutrisno.
