SULSELSATU.com – Nokia 8110 or popularly known as Nokia Banana, which came out in 2018, now the WhatsApp messaging application can now be installed.
As The Verge reported on Tuesday (07/23/2019), the WhatsApp application currently supports the KaiOS operating system that defines Nokia Banana.
The WhatsApp application can be downloaded from KaiStore's Nokia 8110 users by consuming around 512MB of RAM up to 256MB. The plan, this app will be available pre-installed on a number of mobile phones released in the 2019 quarter.
The KaiOS version of WhatsApp is also supported by features similar to the versions of Android and iOS, such as end-to-end encryption, and can also make WhatsApp calls.
Before joining the Nokia 8110, WhatsApp actually touched a few devices based on KaiOS from 2018. In September last year WhatsApp came to JioPhone.
So far, WhatsApp has been downloaded to seven devices based on KaiOS, namely Cat B35, Doro 7060, JioPhone (Reliance Jio), JioPhone 2, MTN Smart, Nokia 8110 and Orange Sanza.
KaiOS operating systems are sold mostly in developing countries such as India and Africa.
KaiOS was originally an operating system developed by Firefox OS. This operating system is supported by Google. Therefore, all devices using KaiOS have the Google Assistant feature.
