JAKARTA, AYOBANDUNG.COM– The Ministry of Communication and Information with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce will issue a ministerial regulation on the validation of International Mobile Equipment Identity / IMEI in mid-August 2019. This will reduce the proliferation of mobile phones by black market.

"The three ministries are a form of independence from BM's mobile phones (black market). The regulation will enter into force at the latest six months after its signature, "said Minister of Communications and Information Technology Rudiantara at a seminar held by the Indonesian Technology Forum (ITF) in Jakarta on Friday (08.02.2019).
