Liam Payne's latest show canceled as fans miss out on seeing the former 1D star

Gutting Liam Payne has been forced to announce some bad news to his fans – and they can thank the good old British summer for that.

The former 1D star was due to perform at a SummerChime concert in west London.

Organizers had hoped to raise much-needed money to help children with cancer in the UK, but they were forced to pull the plug.

The hitmaker Strip That Down was due to appear in Chiswick later along with All Saints, but now the concert won't happen with high winds expected to hit the capital.

"Hello guys, some bad news, but unfortunately this summer the Summer Chime fest was canceled due to a weather warning," he told his 32.7 million followers on Twitter.

Fans won't get to him after all

All Saints also had to introduce themselves

"I am very sorry for everyone who was excited to see the show. I hope to see you again someday."

A statement from the event's organizers said: "This decision was not taken lightly and was made after weather warnings predicting heavy rain and wind gusts that can be dangerous in outdoor events.

"After consulting with the event management team, the difficult decision was made to cancel the event to ensure the safety of attendees, artists and staff.

"Ticket recovery is a priority and we will work as quickly as possible to issue refunds."

Louisa Johnson also had to take the stage at Chiswick House.

But Liam's fans had some interesting news – he said he's working with music star Ed Sheeran on his next single.
