Solar panel energy generation in France reaches a record high in June

Solar panel energy production rose 15.4% to a record 1.4 trillion hours in June, France's energy operator said on Wednesday.

The capacity of solar panels to generate solar energy increased by 9.5% on an annual basis in June, as more solar modules were connected to the national grid, according to its RTI monthly report.

Wind energy production in France has jumped 36 percent to 1.9 terawatt hours compared to June 2018, she said.
