The Center for Human and Social Sciences Ibn Khaldun in Qatar University is organizing a seminar on the crisis of social sciences in the Arab world, attended by 6 prominent social scientists in Qatar and the Arab world. , Where both Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Abu Hashouk, Assistant Professor of Research and MA, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Doha Institute for Postgraduate Studies, Abdullahab al-Efendi Tijani Abdul Kader, Head of Social Sciences "at Ibn Haldun Center, Hamid Keesy, Professor of Political Science, University of London and Dr. Majid Al Ansari, Director of Politics at the Institute for Socio-Economic Research and Studies at Qatar University and Dr. Assama Hussein Malkavi, Prof COP sociology at the University of Qatar.

In his intervention at the Symposium, Dr. Majid al-Ansari turned to the social sciences from a practical point of view, asking social scientists to bring them closer to societies and transfer them from universities to society, such as the United States and Western countries, where these communities take advantage of psychologists and sociologists in their day-to-day affairs and hire social and psychological professionals in their fields of activity to study society and transform their knowledge into tangible things seen by society; It'll lead to a breakthrough in the field of social sciences.

Dr. Hamed Abdul Majid Cussey addressed the issue of choosing a new scientific methodology to address the social sciences in the Arab world and said that social sciences should discuss the problems faced by Arab countries themselves, including the relations between Arab societies and their rulers. An examination of the accepted methods of research due to their inefficiency in addressing the current problems of these communities and said that the concept of the social crisis discussed by the social sciences departments of the twenties of the last century and today should become a crisis in the ongoing problem , and Talking Khtaatm security approaches to teaching the social age science disproportions and so it is important to replace them with other approaches and a more contemporary discourse with the reality of livelihood. He concluded that social sciences discuss descriptive aspects of science and analyze reality, predict its mechanisms and adjust its pace and choose the best, otherwise it can not be viable curricula.

In his speech, Dr Al-Tijani speaks of the crisis of science and its development in the West, then answers the question of defining the crisis itself and dealing with the reality of social sciences in the Arab world, and called for ending the Western dependence on social science, because its condition is not our position and measures our social, economic and even political situations. And studying the underlying theories of critical research and taking a bold stance, as well as calling to place the revelation in the sources of fixed truth in order to achieve the results of college in the social sciences.

Dr. Asmaa Hussein Malkawi talks about theories of social change and the developmental stages of societies from the mythological to metaphysical stage to the stage in which Western societies reach the truth through the empirical reality and dimensions of human cognition, including integration, accumulation, and intellectual and cultural vision. And he called for the acceptance of Arab societies to develop according to the best references we have and to add the best to the west of knowledge in order to achieve the desired integration in the social sciences.
