Harvard researcher: Mysterious objects can become space work

At first, scientists thought that the shape of this very unusual object was just a strange asteroid. This strange and very long form has no precedent of around 750 thousand. asteroids and comets in our solar system, where they have been formed.

The said asteroid was seen on a Hawaiian telescope and was named Oumuamua, which means "messenger" in Hawaii. The object is about 400 m long and only about 40 m wide. However, certain attributes change the opinion of scientists and it is thought that maybe Oumuamua is not an asteroid, but a space ship from civilization that lives in other parts of the world.

This theory came to researchers after it was discovered that the mysterious object had suddenly increased its speed and left the solar system in January this year, cnn.com wrote.

"Given the artificial origin, one possibility is that Oumuamua is a lightweight, space-based advanced space technology," wrote the Astrophysical Journal Letters. Scientists believe that spacecraft can be supported by the Sun's energy.

Astronomer Abraham Loeb of Harvard University believes that a prototype spacecraft has been built on Earth.

Together with co-workers, Loeb believes that the unusual trajectory of Oumuamua and the extraordinary speed can mean that the spacecraft is no longer used.

Oumuamua is the first object seen in the solar system, which is believed to have arrived outside our planetary system.

"We were fortunate enough to find our telescope in the right place at the right time to see this historic moment," said NASA Defense Officer Lindley Johnson.
