Roy Hodgson reveals that Crystal Palace President Steve Parish will categorically refuse to entertain moving abroad for Wilfried Zach this summer.

Roy Hodgson confirm this Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish will not sanction a transfer abroad for Wilfrid Zaha under any circumstances this month.

Everton is reported to have made a £ 60m bid for Zaha, with Arsenal also showing interest, but Palace declined to support Ivorian's departure.

Zaha is said to have remained "devastated" by refusing to move away, with the talisman wing already considering a potential move abroad, as European transfer markets remain open until the end of the month.

Asked by Sky Sports News if Zaha will definitely stay at Selhurst Park this month, Hodgson said, "Yes, he remains. We are pleased because he is an important player for the club and we are looking forward to making him this season for what he has done" for the past two seasons.

"Everyone here has a good relationship with him. No problem with that. His cattle are with the club's chairman and owners because he wants to leave and they have not received an offer that they believe is sufficient to allow him to leave.

"He has to put up with it when you sign long-term contracts, you're expected to fulfill them, and we expect him to do that."

Palace had rejected several offers from Everton that included offering players plus money, but remained resolute in their decision to receive £ 80 million for their star player.

Zacha appeared on the bench during the Palace Premier League opener against The Toffees, ending the game 0-0.
