According to the Car Guide, the CX-5 Signature interior is lined with higher quality materials, including brown nappa brown leather seat covers and Abachi trims. The Signature version also gets a seven-inch digital display for the driver, heated and ventilated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, heated steering wheel, Bose 10-speaker audio system, head-up screen and mirror with electric folding, among others.
Under the hood, the CX-5 Signature will feature a SKYACTIV-2.5T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which develops 227 horsepower with regular gasoline and 250 horsepower super. The revised version of Mazda's controlling software, the G-Vectoring Control Plus, is also included.
There are no details, however, like other variations of CX-5, which continue to use the SKYACTIV-G engine atmosphere. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission produces 156 horsepower, while the other 2.5-liter engine except Signature produces 187 horsepower. In addition, we are still waiting for the diesel engine promised by Mazda when the CX-5 is redesigned for vintage 2017.
Prices for the 2017 Mazda CX-5 will be announced later.
