Lap record holder Isle of Man TT Peter Hickman will travel to New Zealand this winter after signing an agreement with Carl Cox Motorsport.
As a big supporter of 'real road racing' and with a base in New Zealand, a team from Carl Cox Motorsport was very interested in bringing talented Burton-on-Trent riders to the three-round & # 39; they.
Hickman has also won in the very competitive British Superbike championship, so his versatility on both the short circuit and road shows must hold him in goodness in the mixed discipline of the Kiwi series.
The series starts at the famous Bruce McLaren Motor Park, where Carl Cox Motorsport helps organize various track activities, before moving to the Manfield circuit for round two.
Then on Boxing Day, the legendary Fir Circuit hosted the last event on closed streets around Wanganui, a favorite company with street racers from all over the world.
"What an amazing opportunity, getting away from winter in England, seeing New Zealand for the first time and motorcycle racing on some great new circuits," said Hickman.
I met Carl at the Philip Island Classic and the Isle of Man TT and was always impressed by the way he helped so many riders. He obviously did it for that love and people like him were very few. So I am very grateful he was interested in taking me and providing bicycles for racing.
"We have Macau now and then I pat three circuits, while the team has contacted me about bicycle arrangements and even branding what I like on bicycles.
"Obviously we will come for the race but we are also looking forward to seeing this country, we have heard many great things about it, brought it."
