Switzerland – Belgium 5-2

Belgium took an early 2-0 lead away from Switzerland and seemed to advance to a group victory in the national league, but then Switzerland woke up and did not last until 5-2.

Before Sunday's group final in Luzern, Belgium had only lost once in their last 31 finishes, and it was in the semifinals against France at this year's World Cup. Number one in the FIFA rankings is looking to secure the group owner, but in an almost miraculous way, Switzerland turned 0-2 to 5-2.

Thus Sweden won group 2 in Division A in the national league. That also means that they move to the semifinals which will be played in June next year.

Double Hazard

Already after 66 seconds came the first score of the match. Nico Elvedi from the Swiss defense really missed the crossover at his own 16 meters. Thorgan Hazard seized the ball and had no trouble putting 1-0.

A quarter later Belgium came to the counterattack when Hazard got the ball on the right. Borussia Mönchengladbach struck the ball quickly and from 16 yards he shot Gladbach Elvedi's partner and goalkeeper Yann Sommer in the longest corner.

With a score of 2-0, Belgium looked comfortable, but after 25 minutes, he played in a different way. The first is Ricardo Rodríguez, who easily gave a penalty on goal behind Thibaut Courtois.

Ellevill Turnover

Sweden pressed high and after 39 minutes they were rewarded for battle. Rodriguez slipped to Liverpool's Xherdan Shaqiri, heading to Haris Seferovic. The Benfica striker easily places the equalizer.

Two minutes before the break, the turnaround is a fact. Edimilson Fernandes got the ball on the right side, played 45 degrees to Seferovic, who beautifully placed the ball in the longest corner. That was the 16th national team's score in 59 matches.

With a score, Switzerland gets more blood in the teeth and eyes hope for a group victory. One judgment wants to push Belgium down from the table. After 61 minutes, Shaqiri swung from the right with the aim of giving Elvedi the advantage, scoring 0-1, scoring 4-2.

Five minutes before the end of the match, Seferovic became the big hero of the match when he nodded 5-2 and scored his first hat-trick in the national team uniform.

Iceland moves from group to division B with zero points and -12 on goal difference.
