Alexander Sedlar will not extend the expiration with Piast Gliwice. This is a great weakening of the Polish champion against the struggle for the European Cup and the protection of the title.
The contract between Sedlara and Piest Gliwiec expires on 30 June 2019. After the season, the footballer admitted that he did not know whether he would stay in Piais because the good season in his performance caused the interest of other teams. Today, Piest announced that the Serb has decided to leave the club.
According to the information provided by Katowice's sport, the defender was close to moving to Spain because the contract had to be handed over to RCD Mallaroca and Sporting Gijon, playing in the second Spanish league. Sedlaram is also interested in clubs from Turkey, Israel and Lech Poznan.
The 27-year-old Serb was a partner of Jakub Cervinski in the middle of Piass's defense last season. He has appeared in 30 league games in which he scored six goals (he was a full punishment).
Sedlar is a Piast player since 2016 when he joined the club at the Serbian Metalac club. In total, he appeared in 88 games in Gliwice, scoring 10 goals. He has two matches in the national team of Serbia.
