United States ahead but history may change …
The company believes that this reality will change if the networks continue to expand. Currently, the United States is better positioned because operators are now able to use 5G millimeter waves with very high capacity and very fast spectrum. However, they have a very limited coverage compared to the average bandwidth of 3.4-3.8 GHz 5G used in most other countries.
Although the United States is leading the withdrawal, Europe is the scene of a fierce competitive environment. The biggest obstacles to the implementation of 5G in Europe are radio spectrum auctions, which in some countries cost the networks much more than they were expected to spend.
