Sairé Festival, Rio Music Festival, Oktoberfest and Círio de Nazaré. Four major cultural and religious events that shake the country in the second half of this year will rely on Azul's additional flights.
Overall, the company will operate 70 extra frequencies during the 8,708 extras, according to a company statement. Rio, Sao Paulo, Para, Minas Gerais and Santa Catarina will receive additional operations during the holidays.
The closest calendar event, the Sairé festival will take place between 19 and 23 September in Santarém (PA). Overall, the company will provide another 450 seats between Belene and Santamar.
One week after the festival, the focus is on Rio de Janeiro / RJ, which will host one of the world's largest music festivals. Between September 27 and October 7, Azul will offer 34 extra flights to and from Santos Dumont and Galeão airports to meet additional demand.
According to the airline, Guarulhos, Campinas, Congonhas and Confins will be the cities that will have the biggest offer for Rio. The highlands include the unprecedented Congonhas-Galeão market. Even during Oktoberfest, there will be the Campinas-Navegantes and Porto Alegre-Navegantes markets, which will have more blue operations.
Círio de Nazaré, who collects about 3 million Catholics in Para, is also on the list of additional company flights. From 11 to 14 October, the airline will have 12 additional frequencies in Belene-Sao Luis, Belene-Manaus, Belene-Maraba, Belem-Macapa and will increase the capacity of the Belene-Santarém route.
