Samsung Galaxy M40 reviews and prices for Romania. The big South Korean manufacturer officially turned India into the new mid-range Galaxy M40. The terminal is the fourth terminal in the range of Galaxy M phones, including the Galaxy M10, the Galaxy M20 and the Galaxy M30.
Surprisingly, the M40 has some similarities to the excellent mid-range Motorola One Vision. The most obvious are the 3500mAh battery and the FHD + display with 6.3-inch perforation and diagonal.
We would like to remind you that we recently had the opportunity to test and make a full review of the One Vision terminal.
The new Galaxy M40 will be available in India from June 18 at a cost of around $ 290. And now it looks interesting (think 🙂)
The M40 is very similar to the Galaxy A60, which was launched by Samsung for the Chinese market. In fact, the M40 is the global version of the Galaxy A60 smartphone.
As far as the price for Romania is concerned, we have seen the Galaxy A60 on the Eumag website for the sum of 1560 lei.
We want to make it clear that the A60 is not brought to us in the "official channel" country. So we expect Samsung to release the new M40 in Romanian online for an amount of 1300-1500 lei.
All right. Now that we have clarified what the M40 looks like and how much it costs, let's focus on the great hardware features of the new Samsung device.
1. Samsung Galaxy M40 reviews – Fast charging battery and USB power supply C
Samsung recently launched attractive mid-range phones equipped with the antique MicroUSB port. An example of this is the Samsung Galaxy A7 2018.
This is how the manufacturer radically changes its strategy and releases high-performance high performance mid-range chargers.
These include terminals such as the Galaxy A40, the Galaxy A50 and, of course, the "fresh" Galaxy M40. As for the new M40, it has a 3500mAh battery with fast 15W fast charging and efficient power supply via USB port C. Excellent
2. Samsung Galaxy M40 Panels – Snapdragon 675 chipset
The Samsung Terminal is the top-of-the-line model and it's an excellent top of the device's "motors", especially the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset.
The chipset features the Adreno 612 graphics processor, capable of delivering the latest and greatest games in the Google Play store.
We want to mention that the Snapdragon 675 processor is slightly better than the Snapdragon 710, which equips the attractive Nokia mid-range terminal 8.1.
We were able to review the Nokia 810 smartphone and you can find more details here.
3. Samsung Galaxy M40 Reviews – LCD Perforation Display
Clearly, the Galaxy M40 smartphone has a Super AMOLED display. But the presence of the LCD is not necessarily a bad thing.
In fact, the brightness and contrast are not the same as the AMOLED panel, but the LCD screen "eats" less energy, and that means a smartphone with good autonomy. This is important today.
As a design, the display looks great thanks to the LCD panel, which occupies a large part of the front. According to the manufacturer, the screen / body ratio is 91.8%, which is impressive.
Also on the design side, you can not ignore the perforation of the screen that includes the camera. As for the features, the M40 has a 6.3 inch screen with Gorilla Glass and FHD + resolution (2340 × 1080 pixels, 409PPI).
4. Samsung Galaxy M40 Reviews – Great Memory
The Snapdragon 675 chipset is located in the chosen and "generous" company of 6GB RAM (LPDDR4X) + 128GB ROM (probably eMMC 5.1). In fact, the Galaxy M40 smartphone received just as much memory as the Galaxy S10e flagship.
When M40 arrives on the Romanian market, we are confident that Samsung will release a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM.
5. Samsung Galaxy M40 Reviews – The main camera comes with 3 sensors
From the point of view of the picture we can say that the M40 is excellent. We have a 16 megapixel stand alone camera (built into perforation), but our attention is intensively captured by the main camera.
It is a three-camera type and consists of a 32-megapixel aperture (aperture F1.7) + 5MP (Bokeh sensor, F2.2) + 8MP (ultra-wide 123 degree sensor). Interesting 🙂
On the official site Samsung informs us that the phone is capable of 4K video capture and super fun shooting at 720p with 240fps. Not bad
6. Samsung Galaxy M40 Reviews – Different features "cool"
If you look closely at the front, you may notice that the speaker is missing. However, we do not have to panic, Samsung has equipped the smartphone with technology that uses the device's display as a loudspeaker. Very strong 🙂
Other interesting aspects of the new M40 are the stylish design case (back which combines plastic glass, shiny covers and metal frame), Android 9.0 (with One UI interface) and Dolby Atmos sound.
We continue with Widevine L1 certification (which allows Netflix to run similar other applications with HD resolution), WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0 connection and end with the face unlock feature.
